Saint Vincent Hospital’s orthopedic surgeons have a new home, one that’s even closer to the hospital’s operating rooms and emergency department.
Saint Vincent Orthopaedic Institute officially opened Friday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Patients will start being seen at the 14,000-square-foot office Monday.
The new office is located in the basement of the Hardner Building, 2315 Myrtle St., and includes 24 examination rooms, two x-ray rooms, two casting bays and a 94-seat waiting area. The old office was located at 204 W. 26th St.
Renovation costs were funded by a $2.5 million gift from the Saint Vincent Foundation.
